The Dallas Cowboys are back to being the glamour team in the NFL, they have a quarterback that is getting the kind of public attention that legends like Joe Namath commanded, and they have the best record in the NFC, now they face a tough test against the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Eagles have shown flashes of being a top team on some weeks, but on others they have looked like one of the worst teams in the league.

Coach Andy Reid has been dealing with his two sons all week, both of whom are currently in jail for various law infractions, but that has not stopped him from focusing on the Cowboys.

Both teams need to win but the Eagles are in a little more dire need than the Cowboys, after beating the Vikings last week, they could build some momentum going into the second half of the season with a win over Dallas.

Dallas, meanwhile, is currently the best team in the NFC and they must win tonight to set up a showdown next week with a New York Giant team that has been playing some of the best football in the league.

Game time tonight is at 8:15, and the game will be televised as part of football night in America on NBC.

The Ohio State Buckeyes have now answered their critics as for the second consecutive week they have defeated a ranked conference opponent, and the result of their latest victory is the #1 ranking in the BCS standings.

Boston College became the latest in a growing number of #2 teams who cannot hold that ranking. The Eagles lost to Florida State on Saturday and the loss dropped them out of the top five in the BCS.

LSU was the beneficiary of that loss as they came from behind and beat Alabama Saturday night, and they are now the #2 team in the land.

Oregon defeated previously unbeaten Arizona State and took control of the PAC Ten with the win, they also secured the number three ranking in the BCS this week.

Kansas blew out Nebraska to stay unbeaten and it appears they are finally getting respect, as they moved all the way up to #4 this week.

Another Big Twelve team, Oklahoma, has been playing impressive football and they are now the #5 team in the BCS.

Missouri, West Virginia, Boston College, Arizona State, and Georgia are the six through ten teams in the latest rankings.
